SimNavLog produces navigation logs for simulated flight. It is not an aviation product, it is not certified for anything, and it is built by people who are not pilots.

Do not use SimNavLog to plan, file or conduct a real flight. Nothing it shows you is a flight-planning authority: not the courses, headings, altitudes, fuel figures, terrain clearances, airspace, frequencies or weather. Its calculations are simplified, its data comes from free third-party sources that may be wrong, stale or incomplete, and it makes no claim to any AIRAC cycle. A real flight is planned with current official charts and publications.

SimNavLog (the "service") is operated by Virtual Void Stockholm AB, a company registered in Sweden. You can reach us at info.simnavlog@virtualvoid.se . How we handle personal data is a separate document: the privacy policy .

• You do not need an account to plan a flight. One is needed only to save your work.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure. We cannot recover a plan you lose because someone else got into your account.
• You are responsible for what is created under your account.
• You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or other automated means are not permitted, and neither is using the service in a way that degrades it for everyone else — hammering it with automated requests, or using it to relay traffic to the third-party data providers we depend on.
• You must be at least 13 years old to register an account. If you are younger than that you are still welcome here — planning a flight needs no account, and without one there is nothing about you for us to keep.

The service is free, and free means free: we do not ask for a card and we do not sell your data. If a paid tier appears, it will not retroactively put a bill on anything you have already done.

This is a hobby project run by two people. We may change, break or withdraw any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and we may stop running it altogether. If we ever shut it down, we will try to give you enough warning to export your plans — but we cannot promise it, so keep your own copy of anything you would miss.

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your account settings . It takes effect immediately and we cannot undo it.

We may suspend or delete an account that is being used to abuse the service, to break these terms, or to harm other people. Abuse or threats directed at us will end an account immediately.

Your use of the service is at your own risk. It is provided as is and as available, with no service-level agreement of any kind. It runs on a single small server; it will sometimes be down, and it may lose data.

We take reasonable measures to protect what you store with us — encrypted transport, hashed passwords, off-site backups — but no service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee otherwise. We may temporarily limit an account whose usage is far beyond everyone else's, because one such account can get the free data sources we all rely on cut off.

• Your nav log is yours. The nav log is your working document — the aircraft, the times, the fuel, every figure you confirmed. We claim no ownership over it and take only the limited licence needed to store it and show it back to you. Deleting your account deletes it. We keep backups, but we do not guarantee your work against loss and we will not compensate you for it, so keep your own copy of anything you would miss.
• Routes are shared. A route — the list of waypoints from departure to destination, with none of the nav log around it — is treated as a shared resource. We may reuse it to suggest routes to other people planning a similar trip, and it outlives your account, detached from you. So please do not put anything private in a route or waypoint name: treat those as public.
• The service is ours. The software, design and content of SimNavLog belong to us or to our licensors, and using the service grants you no rights in them.
• The data belongs to the people who published it. Airport, airspace, terrain and weather data come from third parties under their own licences, credited in the footer of the nav log. Their terms govern that data, not ours.
• We do not pre-screen what people create, but we may remove content we consider abusive or unlawful.

We build this carefully and for our own use first, but we make no promise that it will meet your expectations. Like all software it has bugs. We fix the ones we can, prioritising anything touching security or privacy, and we do not guarantee an error-free service.

You expressly understand and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost data, or other intangible losses — resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the service; from unauthorised access to your data; from the conduct of any third party; or from any other matter relating to these terms or the service.

In plain words: this is a free hobby project for a flight simulator. If you rely on it and it lets you down, that is on you, not on us. And if you took it into a real aeroplane, see the first section.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Swedish law, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any dispute belongs before the Swedish courts.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service means the latest version applies.
